RCMP asks for public help in Halifax murder investigation

The death of a man who was was found critically injured at his home in the Halifax area earlier this month has been ruled a homicide by the Nova Scotia medical examiner.
Police were called to a home on Sackville Drive in Middle Sackville, NS, on the evening of July 3 to a report of an injured man. They found Noel Graham Fredericks, 71, inside. He was pronounced dead on the spot.
Police are now asking for the public’s help.
“At this point, we think this was a targeted character,” said RCMP Cpl. Guillaume Tremblay said Monday.
“We do not believe there is any risk to the public.”
Tremblay said police are particularly interested in any videos that may have been taken in the area, including dashcam footage.
“Even if you were just driving on Sackville Drive during the day or at night, the night before, we would definitely be interested in getting that footage,” Tremblay said.
Police are also seeking information about a woman who was driving a maroon vehicle on Sackville Drive about three hours before Fredericks was found injured, he said.
Fredericks operated a used car dealership out of his property.
