RCMP investigates suspected arson in Peace River
PEACE RIVER, Alta. – RCMP in Peace River, Alta is investigating a suspected case of arson last month.
On June 23, just before 1:30 pm, police were called to Cessna Road to reports of a factory fire.
RCMP says security footage shows a small car exiting the parking lot shortly after a bright light is seen in the distance, later determined to be a fire.
Investigators say a bottle of diesel fuel was found at the scene and it was used to saturate the ground under two large garage doors to set them on fire.
The fire did not spread beyond the immediate area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
