Roseway Hospital emergency department closed overnight Feb. 7-9

SHELBURNE, N.S. — Overnight emergency services at the Roseway Hospital in Shelburne will be suspended for the next two evenings.
Nova Scotia Health is advising residents that the emergency department will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 and reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, before again closing at 4 p.m. and reopening at 8 a.m. on Friday.
Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911, general health advice and information can be received by calling 811, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to speak with an experienced registered nurse.
The Mental Health and Addictions Crisis Line can also be reached at any time by calling 1-888-429-8167, with additional mental health tools and resources available online at mha.nshealth.ca/en.
