The Great Coverup: Aides debated whether to put Biden in a wheelchair

There is something deeply fascinating about the backlash President Trump is facing for accepting a $400 million luxury jet from Qatar. Hill Republicans and media conservatives are up in arms, with some stammering and others shouting about the questionable gift.

Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro labeled the deal as “skeezy,” questioning the motives behind Qatar’s generosity. He suggested that the gift was not out of the goodness of their hearts but rather a strategic move to influence and improve their tarnished image on the international stage.

National Review published an editorial titled “Poison Plane,” highlighting the potential security risks of a jumbo jet gifted by a country known for funding terrorist organizations like Hamas and propagating anti-American sentiments through media outlets like Al Jazeera. The editorial raised ethical concerns about an American president owing favors to a government with ties to terrorism.

Conservative radio host Erick Erickson pointed out the conflict of interest with Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was a lobbyist for Qatar before the gift was accepted. He expressed skepticism about the conditions attached to the gift, including the suggestion that it should go to the Trump Presidential Library.

Even staunch Trump supporters like Laura Loomer criticized the deal, calling it a stain on the president’s legacy. However, President Trump defended his decision, arguing that it would be foolish to turn down a cost-saving opportunity.

But while Trump faces scrutiny for the Qatar jet, a new book by CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson sheds light on former President Joe Biden’s health struggles during his potential re-election campaign. The book, titled “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again,” reveals alarming details about Biden’s deteriorating physical condition and the efforts to conceal it from the public.

According to the book, Biden’s aides privately discussed the possibility of him needing a wheelchair if he won re-election due to significant degeneration of his spine. The White House doctor expressed concerns about Biden’s health and the risks of pushing him to continue campaigning despite his declining condition.

The book also exposes the discontent among Biden’s advisers and supporters, with top Harris adviser David Plouffe expressing frustration and anger over the former president’s decision to run again. The revelation that Biden didn’t even recognize key supporters like George Clooney and had to be reminded of who they were further adds to the narrative of a struggling leader.

In contrast to Trump’s questionable acceptance of the Qatar jet, Biden’s health issues and the cover-up surrounding them raise serious concerns about his ability to lead effectively. The contrast between the two presidents’ challenges underscores the complexities and controversies of political leadership.
