Stolen front-end loader plows into cars parked on Dartmouth street early Friday

DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Police say someone literally plowed into a bunch of cars in Dartmouth early Friday morning.

At about 2 a.m., Halifax Regional Police were called to the 0-100 block of Pleasant Street where officers located several “heavily damaged” vehicles.

Not too far away, officers found an abandoned front-end load with a snowplow attached, leading them to believe the vehicle — which had been stolen from the Dartmouth Sportsplex earlier in the evening — was responsible for the hit and runs.

Anyone who believes their vehicle was damaged in the incident and has not already spoken to police, or who has information about it, is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-8477.
