A woman has reportedly testified to the House Ethics Committee that she had sexual relations with Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., when she was 17 years old, according to ABC News.

The committee was investigating Gaetz, but the probe came to an end when House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., announced Gaetz’s resignation from Congress on Wednesday.

The resignation came shortly after President-elect Trump nominated Gaetz to be his attorney general.

When reached for comment, the chief counsel for the House Ethics Committee declined to provide any information to Fox News Digital.
