This isn’t the first time Norton has wavered on her re-election plans. Earlier in the month, Kapur noted in another tweet that Norton had declared her intention to run again. The New York Times reported that Norton’s latest statement hinted at her indecision, stating, “through thoughtful discussions with my friends, family, and closest advisors, I’m still considering my options for the next election cycle.”
