First images of ICE mass deportation efforts show arrests of MS-13 gang members, murder suspects

In a recent operation, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Boston targeted egregious criminal aliens, including MS-13 gang members and murder suspects, as part of mass deportation efforts under President Donald Trump. Fox News was embedded exclusively with ICE Boston during this operation and witnessed the agency make eight arrests, including multiple MS-13 members, Interpol Red Notices, murder and rape suspects, and a volatile Haitian gang member with 18 convictions in recent years.

One of the most striking moments during the operation was when a Haitian gang member, who had been arrested by ICE, defiantly declared that he “ain’t going back to Haiti” and expressed his support for President-elect Joe Biden while cursing at President Trump. This individual had a long criminal record and was a clear public safety threat.

ICE also made a “collateral” arrest during the operation, where they arrested an illegal alien who was not their initial target. This individual was in the company of an MS-13 gang member who had been released by a sanctuary jurisdiction despite having an ICE detainer that was not honored.

As ICE Boston was making arrests in one neighborhood, a woman was heard yelling “thank you” to the agents, highlighting the support for ICE’s efforts in cracking down on criminal aliens. The arrests made by ICE Boston are part of the Trump administration’s push for a historic mass deportation operation, with a focus on public safety threats.

In the first days of the Trump administration, ICE has made over 460 arrests of illegal immigrants, including those with criminal histories involving sexual assault, domestic violence, drugs, and weapons crimes. These arrests have taken place across the United States, including in states like Illinois, Utah, California, Minnesota, New York, Florida, and Maryland.

The individuals arrested by ICE come from a variety of countries, including Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal, and Venezuela. The enforcement efforts of ICE are crucial in ensuring the safety and security of American communities.

Fox News Digital’s Adam Shaw contributed to this report. Bill Melugin, who serves as a Los Angeles-based correspondent for FOX News Channel, was embedded with ICE Boston during this operation. His reporting provided a unique and firsthand look at the immigration enforcement efforts being carried out by ICE.
