Trump DOJ hammers judge’s ‘digressive micromanagement’ in deportation flights case

The Justice Department has come under fire from a federal judge for its handling of deportation flights that sent Venezuelan nationals to El Salvador over the weekend. In a scathing rebuke, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg accused the department of “digressive micromanagement” in relation to the case.

The controversy began when the Justice Department insisted that the flights did not violate a court order. Judge Boasberg, however, was not convinced and ordered the department to submit answers to five questions regarding the matter.

As the case continues to unfold, tensions are running high. The image of a prison guard transferring deportees from the U.S. to the Terrorism Confinement Center in Tecoluca, El Salvador, has sparked outrage and raised questions about the legality and morality of the deportation process.
