Texas A&M superfan proposes to girlfriend during ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ ahead of rivalry game vs. Texas

The Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies are gearing up for their big rivalry game, but the real winners of the day were two Aggies superfans who stole the show during ESPN’s “College GameDay” in College Station, Texas.
Sports reporter Jess Sims invited Aggie superfans Kyle and Erika onto the stage to talk about their love for Texas A&M and the upcoming game. Erika shared that the university holds a special place in her heart as her mom worked there, she received two degrees from the school, currently works there, and her daughter is set to become a member of the class of 2042.
As the conversation shifted to the game, Kyle took the opportunity to surprise everyone with a proposal to Erika. Getting down on one knee, Kyle asked Erika to marry him, and to the delight of the crowd, she said yes. Confetti filled the air as the newly engaged couple embraced, surrounded by cheers and support from fellow Aggies fans.
Even Alabama head coach Nick Saban, who has been married for 53 years, offered some lighthearted advice to the couple. He joked about his coffee cup saying “Mr. Right” and his wife’s cup saying “Mrs. Never Wrong,” highlighting the humor and love that comes with marriage.
As Kyle and Erika bask in the joy of their engagement, they are hopeful that the Aggies can secure a win against their rivals and secure a spot in the SEC Championship game. The day has already been unforgettable for the couple, and a victory for their beloved team would be the perfect cherry on top.
