Trump unloads on Judge Boasberg, ‘radical left judges’ for halting deportations of violent illegal aliens

President Donald Trump has once again taken aim at U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg and other “radical left judges” for allegedly obstructing his efforts to uphold law and order by preventing the deportation of violent illegal immigrants residing in the country. In a fiery message posted on Truth Social, Trump expressed outrage at the court system’s interference with his duty as president to swiftly remove dangerous criminals who pose a threat to American citizens.

“People are shocked by what is going on with the Court System. I was elected for many reasons, but a principal one was LAW AND ORDER, a big part of which is QUICKLY removing a vast Criminal Network of individuals, who came into our Country through the Crooked Joe Biden Open Borders Policy! These are dangerous and violent people, who kill, maim and, in many other ways, harm the people of our Country,” Trump declared.

The former president went on to criticize Judge Boasberg and other judges on the left for hindering his ability to enforce immigration policies aimed at protecting the American people. Trump asserted that these judges are undermining the will of the voters and preventing him from fulfilling his duties as president, thereby causing harm and devastation across the nation.

Trump’s criticism of the judiciary comes in the wake of Judge Boasberg’s decision to extend a restraining order against the use of the Alien Enemies Act, a wartime immigration law dating back to 1798, to deport violent gang members with alleged ties to criminal organizations like the Tren de Aragua gang from Venezuela. Boasberg’s ruling, which will remain in effect until April 12, effectively blocks the Trump administration from deporting these individuals deemed as threats to public safety.

Another federal judge, U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy in Boston, also issued an order preventing the deportation of migrants to countries where they lack existing ties without the opportunity to contest the decision in court. This legal battle over deportation policies has sparked a debate over the use of the Alien Enemies Act, which allows for the expulsion of enemy nationals without a hearing during times of conflict.

Despite legal challenges, the Trump administration had already initiated deportation flights to El Salvador, where President Nayib Bukele had agreed to accept illegal immigrants facing removal from the U.S., regardless of their nationality. These individuals were placed in El Salvador’s prison system, including members of notorious gangs like MS-13 and 18th Street.

In response to the court rulings, the Trump administration filed emergency requests for intervention by the U.S. appeals court and the Supreme Court to lift the block on deportations under the wartime powers act. Acting Solicitor General Sarah Harris argued that national security operations should be determined by the president, not the judiciary, emphasizing the need for decisive action in safeguarding the country.

The ongoing legal battle over immigration policies reflects a broader struggle between the executive branch and the judiciary over the scope of presidential authority in matters of national security. As the debate continues, the fate of violent illegal immigrants and the enforcement of immigration laws remain at the center of a contentious political and legal dispute.
