Trump’s First 100 Days: A Presidency in Pictures

On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump was sworn in for his second term as President of the United States. The day was filled with memorable moments, including a viral incident where Trump tried to kiss his wife, Melania, but her hat blocked him. Barron Trump, the president’s son, also became a prominent figure during the inauguration ceremony.
After the swearing-in ceremony, Trump and Melania shared a dance at the Liberty Inaugural Ball. The president then entered his inauguration parade at Capitol One Arena, where he signed executive orders in front of a crowd of supporters. He even threw pens to the crowd as a gesture of appreciation.
Returning to the Oval Office for his second term, Trump proudly displayed the letter left for him by his predecessor, Joe Biden. Surrounded by executive orders, the president continued to make his mark on the country.
Throughout his second term, Trump engaged in various activities and events. He met with the Florida Panthers hockey team to celebrate their Stanley Cup win, and was joined by Elon Musk and his son, X Musk, during an executive order signing at the White House.
Trump also attended the Daytona 500 with his granddaughter, signed an executive order banning transgender women from competing in women/girls sporting events, and saluted during the national anthem at the Super Bowl. He welcomed home Mac Folger after his release from Russian custody and engaged in a verbal argument with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office.
The president delivered a joint address to Congress, which was interrupted by Rep. Al Green of Texas in protest of his cuts to government programs. He also met with hostages freed from Hamas, showed off Teslas on the White House Lawn with Elon Musk, and signed an executive order to reduce the size of the Department of Education.
In March, Trump attended the NCAA College wrestling championship and signed an executive order to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America alongside Kid Rock. He also implemented new reciprocal tariffs on China and other countries and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss key issues, including the War in Gaza.
Finally, Trump and Melania participated in the White House Easter Egg Roll on April 21, 2025, marking the end of a busy and eventful second term. The president’s actions and decisions during this time will surely leave a lasting impact on the country and its citizens.
