Two men, one woman charged with drug trafficking in Greenwood, N.S.

GREENWOOD, N.S. — Three people have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking offences after a home search and traffic stop in Greenwood, N.S. netted cocaine and cash.

RCMP officers with the Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit and other Mounties forces searched a home on Argus Drive on Nov. 15, arresting one man and one woman after seizing cocaine, scales, cash and cell phones.

A short time later, RCMP arrested another man during a traffic stop.

Tony Lucas, 54, of Greenwood, Justin Mader, 42, of Upper Granville and, Amanda Weir, 35, of Aylesford, have all been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts each of possession of property obtained by crime.

All three accused were released on conditions to attend court in Kentville on Jan. 30, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
