Stiles gearing up for a future challenge
After a disappointing election result, NDP Leader Marit Stiles remains determined to hold the government accountable and continue fighting for her party’s values. While acknowledging that the people of Ontario have chosen to reelect the government, Stiles is already looking ahead to the next opportunity to make a difference.
“The people have spoken, and we respect their decision. But our work is far from over. We have a crucial role to play in shaping the future of our province,” Stiles said, as she entered the room to the upbeat sounds of Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like A Woman.”
Despite the challenges ahead, Stiles is committed to working with the Ford administration to address issues facing Ontario, including threats from the U.S. However, she is also focused on the long game and the eventual rematch in the next election.
“I am already looking forward to the next opportunity to make a difference. When the time comes for a rematch, we will be ready,” Stiles declared to a cheering crowd at the NDP headquarters.
