Virginia’s Youngkin endorses Winsome Earle-Sears for governor
Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has officially endorsed Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears as his preferred candidate for governor in the upcoming November 2025 election. Both Youngkin and Sears are members of the Republican Party, and this endorsement is seen as a significant development in the state’s political landscape.

Gabbard, who previously served as a Democrat in the House of Representatives, recently switched parties and joined the GOP.
