Dems promoting AOC, Sanders falls flat with young voters as Gen Z sees through false promises: RNC youth chair

The Democratic Party is facing a bleak future according to Gen Z political commentator Brilyn Hollyhand, who predicts that the party will be like the “Titanic at the bottom of the ocean” by 2028. Hollyhand, who is on a mission to build conservative support among young voters, criticized the party’s leadership, including figures like Jasmine Crockett, AOC, and Bernie Sanders, whom he believes are not inspiring Gen Z voters.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Hollyhand expressed his concerns about the direction the Democratic Party is taking, particularly with its embrace of more radical voices within the party. He pointed out that even Vice President Kamala Harris was considered too radical, leading to her loss in the 2024 election. Hollyhand believes that by continuing to elevate figures like Crockett, AOC, and Sanders, the Democratic Party is making it easier for conservatives to attract young voters in the upcoming midterms and the 2028 election.
Hollyhand, who is only 18 years old but already a prominent political commentator and chair of the RNC’s Youth Advisory Council, has met with President Donald Trump multiple times. During a recent meeting in Alabama, the two discussed strategies to maintain momentum among young voters, following Trump’s success in courting the youth vote during the 2024 election cycle.
One of the key strategies Hollyhand proposed to Trump was to tweak Ronald Reagan’s famous campaign question, “Are you better off than you were four years ago?” to ask Gen Z voters, “Are you better off than you were 100 days ago?” He highlighted the positive impact of Trump’s policies, such as lower gas prices and a secure border, on the lives of young people.
In contrast, Hollyhand criticized the Democrats for offering free college and cheaper living costs while resorting to fear-mongering tactics by comparing Trump to Hitler and Elon Musk to a king. He argued that such messaging is not resonating with Gen Z voters who can see through the Democrats’ false promises.
As the Democratic Party grapples with its identity crisis and struggles to find its footing on key issues, including transgender ideology, immigration, and the economy, high-profile figures like AOC and Sanders have emerged as prominent voices within the party. However, Hollyhand believes that Trump’s list of accomplishments and promises kept will be difficult for Democrats to campaign against in the upcoming elections.
Overall, Hollyhand’s meeting with Trump highlighted the genuine and relaxed nature of the president, contrary to how he is portrayed in the media. The young political commentator emphasized the importance of connecting with young voters and building on the progress made during the Trump administration to secure conservative support in the future.
