Moreno demands FBI probe terror ties of illegal alien in Colorado attack

Ohio GOP Sen. Bernie Moreno has taken a bold step in the aftermath of a horrific terrorist attack on a pro-Israel group in Boulder, Colorado. He sought information on who facilitated Soliman’s entry into the US, who funded his travel abroad, and whether the suspect had any ties to terrorist organizations like ISIS or Hamas.

Additionally, Moreno inquired about the vetting process that allowed Soliman to obtain work authorization and potentially file for asylum during the Biden administration. He requested a response from the FBI within 60 days, seeking clarity on the security lapses that led to the attack.

The FBI, in a statement, affirmed its commitment to investigating the attack as an act of terrorism. Special Agent in Charge Mark Michalek emphasized the importance of unity in the face of such violence, underscoring the need to protect one another and stand against attempts to sow fear.

Federal court filings revealed chilling details about Soliman’s motives, with the attacker admitting to a deep-seated hatred for “Zionist” individuals and expressing a desire to kill them.
