Trump ally wants third term, Mount Rushmore spot for president

Rep. Andy Ogles, a key House ally of President Donald Trump, is making headlines with his call for Trump to be eligible for a third White House term. Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, believes that Trump’s leadership and the passage of his “big, beautiful bill” warrant serious consideration for another term in office.

Ogles even went as far as to suggest that Trump should be added to Mount Rushmore alongside some of America’s most iconic presidents. He believes that Trump’s historic legislation, which he refers to as the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” will unleash the economy and bring about a new golden age for America. Ogles was instrumental in whipping votes for the bill and spent countless hours at the White House with Trump and Speaker Johnson to ensure its passage.

The bill, which spans over 900 pages, encompasses various aspects of Trump’s agenda, including tax cuts, immigration reform, defense spending, and energy policy. It permanently extends the income tax brackets lowered by Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, while also introducing new tax deductions for tipped and overtime wages. Additionally, the bill eliminates green energy tax credits and reallocates funds towards national defense and immigration enforcement.

One of the most controversial aspects of the bill is the proposed increase in the debt limit by $5 trillion in order to prevent a potential credit default. Democrats have criticized the bill as a giveaway to the wealthy while cutting benefits for working-class Americans. Republicans, on the other hand, argue that the tax provisions are targeted towards the working and middle classes, while also reforming federal welfare programs to better serve those in need.

As the debate over the bill continues, Rep. Andy Ogles remains a staunch advocate for Trump and his policies. Whether or not Trump will pursue a third term remains to be seen, but with allies like Ogles pushing for it, the possibility is certainly on the table. The political landscape is ever-evolving, and Trump’s influence is still deeply felt within the Republican Party. Only time will tell what the future holds for the former president and his ambitious legislative agenda.
