Manitoba has a first provincial draw of Augustus

This week, Manitoba held another round of invitations for trained employees to request a provincial nomination through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Candidates were invited on the basis of their competent work experience, scores and participation in targeted strategic recruitment initiatives.
MPNP draws results
On August 7 the MPNP Expression held important (EOI) pulls #251 under both Competent employee in Manitoba path and Trained employee abroad Pathway, who issue 37 advisory letters to apply (Laas) to strangers.
To be eligible for this draw, candidates had to have
- A minimal score of 724 under the unique scoring system of the MPNP; And
- Immediately invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.
The 37 Laas in this draw was issued under the following initiatives:
| Strategic recruitment initiative | Afraid |
|---|---|
| Employers’ services | 15 |
| Francophone community | 19 |
| Regional communities | 1 |
| Ethnocultural communities | 2 |
Of the 37, seven spent went to candidates with valid explicit input profile numbers and validation codes for job seekers.
The MPNP notes that if a candidate has met or surpassed the closing score of the Draw but has not received LAA, this can be due to issues such as:
- Which indicates that they had taken an approved language test from third parties, but that they had not given a valid test number in their EOI, or have test results that were no longer valid at the time of the draw; or
- Indicating receipt of a direct invitation through a strategic recruitment initiative, but not delivering a valid invitation number in their EOI.
What are strategic recruitment initiatives under the MPNP?
Strategic recruitment initiatives are special employer or community led processes with which Manitoba can identify candidates and invite with critical skills that are scarce in the province. These initiatives help local employers to fill persistent work gaps and offer strange subjects a way to permanent (PR).
To participate, employers must meet the eligible requirements for their open functions and complete the ABC recruitment process of Manitoba. Once approved, they can provide international candidate data to the employers’ services of Manitoba.
Candidates must meet specific eligible eligibility criteria – such as language skills, work experience, education and age – to supplement the conditions that are specific to the flow for which they have been selected.
If a candidate has stronger ties with another Canadian province or territory, such as earlier employment or training, they can be seen as a risk of retention. This can lead to a refusal of employers’ services or the MPNP. The MPNP assesses these situations on a case -by -case basis.
