Democrats Push Back on Redistribution of Texas Seats, Free in California

The legislative power of Texas is improving with a congress re-distribution card that would give Republicans extra seats, while Democrats in California set a competitive proposal for voters this fall.

The Texas House is planned to vote for a newly drawn congress card that would give Republicans five extra seats. The Senate of the State accepted the map on 13 August and Gov. Greg Abbott has said he will sign it.
