Although the Tar Heels started the season unranked, similar to the buzz surrounding Deion Sanders’ tenure at Colorado, Belichick’s leadership could elevate the team’s standing as the season progresses.
Unfortunately, the opening game did not go as planned for Belichick, as the Tar Heels faced a tough 48-14 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs. With a challenging road ahead, Belichick and his players will need to regroup and prepare for their upcoming game against the Charlotte 49ers.
