President Donald Trump’s political team met with House Republicans to deliver a “clear and simple” message to promote the GOP’s domestic policy package.
Top Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio, senior political aide James Blair, and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt presented the rebranding effort to make the tax cuts and spending measure more appealing to Americans.
“The best marketer out there is our president,” said National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) chair Rep. Richard Hudson.
Trump’s branding shift from the One Big Beautiful Bill to the Working Families Tax Cut aims to better explain the package to the public.

The rebranding effort is met with criticism from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), labeling it as a failed attempt to salvage the unpopular legislation.
The package, passed by the Republican-controlled Congress and signed by Trump, includes significant tax cuts, immigration measures, and defense spending.
The Vice President JD Vance has been touring key states to promote the package, emphasizing the benefits for working families.

The legislation also includes changes to Medicaid and cuts to food stamps, sparking controversy and opposition from Democrats.
Despite pushback, House Republicans are strategizing to secure their majority in the upcoming midterms, targeting low-propensity Trump voters.
NRCC chair Richard Hudson emphasized the importance of reaching out to specific voter groups to communicate the benefits of the Working Families Tax Cut.
