Police investigate Dartmouth shooting | SaltWire

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a shooting that happened in Dartmouth on Friday night.

In a news release Saturday, the police force said officers responded to a call of possible gunshots at 9:50 p.m. When officers arrived in the 400 block of Renfrew Street, they found evidence of a shooting.

A residence was searched and it was determined no one was injured.

Traffic on Renfrew Street was restricted as members of the integrated general investigation unit and the forensic identification unit were on scene, but has since returned to normal.

Police say the investigation is in its preliminary stages and more information will be released when available.
