Halifax police investigate death at Mumford Road Walmart

Halifax Regional Police are investigating what they are calling a sudden death at the Walmart location in Halifax’s west end. Police issued a news release late Saturday night asking people to stay away from the area while they carried out their investigation.

Halifax Regional Police are investigating what they are calling a sudden death at the Walmart location in Halifax’s west end.

Police issued a news release late Saturday night asking people to stay away from the area while they carried out their investigation.

No further details were provided.

On Sunday morning, two police vehicles were stationed outside of the store, which is located on Mumford Road.

The store is closed for at least the day.
