U.S. election: Actor Paul Rudd hands out water to Penn. voters

Actor Paul Rudd Spotted Handing Out Water to Voters in Pennsylvania
Hollywood actor Paul Rudd was captured on camera distributing bottles of water to voters in Pennsylvania on Election Day. The incident took place at Philadelphia’s Temple University, where students endured long lines to cast their ballots.
In an interview with MSNBC News, Rudd expressed his motive behind the gesture, stating, “I just wanted to give people water. They’re waiting in line for a long time, and it’s a wonderful thing that all these young people are out voting.”
MSNBC coincidentally encountered Rudd while reporting live from the voting line, highlighting the dedication of young voters in exercising their democratic rights. Pennsylvania is among the crucial battleground states that could sway the outcome of the 2024 U.S. election.
Reflecting on his experience in Pennsylvania, Rudd shared, “We’ve been doing lots of stuff today here in Pennsylvania. We wanted to come out and tell these students they’re doing really great things.”
This is not the first time Rudd has been involved in such acts of kindness during election periods. In the 2020 election, he made headlines for distributing cookies to voters waiting in the rain in Brooklyn.
