Musk, Stallone among star-studded names partying at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club for Thanksgiving
Mar-a-Lago, the famed Florida club owned by President-elect Trump, has been abuzz with activity following his historic election win earlier this month. This Thanksgiving, the ritzy venue played host to a number of high-profile names, including tech billionaire Elon Musk, Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
On Thursday, Trump hosted a Thanksgiving dinner at Mar-a-Lago, where he was caught on camera grooving to the 1970s hit song “Y.M.C.A.,” a tune that has become synonymous with Trump rallies throughout the election cycle. In a viral video, a cheerful Trump can be seen enthusiastically beating the dinner table before playfully patting Musk on the back. Musk then joins in on the fun, raising his fists in the air and singing along to the catchy tune.
Another clip shows Trump, donning a suit, showcasing his signature “Trump dance” moves with Musk’s mother, Maye, who was also getting into the festive spirit. Barron Trump, Melania Trump, and Melania’s father, Viktor Knavs, were seated at the table, while Musk captured the lively scene on his cell phone.
The Thanksgiving dinner saw 300 attendees, with tickets priced at $350 per head, including drinks. The lavish buffet featured traditional Thanksgiving fare, along with an array of other culinary delights. Stallone and his wife were seated at a separate table, while former Patriots coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, were also in attendance.
Elvis Presley hits, “Phantom of the Opera,” and “Ave Maria” provided the musical backdrop for the evening, with Musk offering a toast to the president and his family. On Friday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a surprise visit to Mar-a-Lago, just days after Trump’s threats of imposing tariffs on Canadian products.
Trudeau’s impromptu visit came amidst discussions on a myriad of topics, including trade, border security, defense, and international relations. A three-hour dinner meeting involved a range of key figures, including Sen.-elect Dave McCormick, Rep. Mike Waltz, and Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick, whom Trump has nominated for Secretary of Commerce.
As Trudeau left his West Palm Beach hotel, he described the dinner meeting as “an excellent conversation.” An official, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that the discussions covered various pressing issues, including fentanyl, Ukraine, NATO, and the upcoming Group of Seven meeting in Canada.
Mar-a-Lago continues to be a hub of activity, drawing in prominent figures from various fields for engaging discussions and festive celebrations. The club’s exclusivity and luxurious ambiance provide the perfect backdrop for high-profile gatherings, making it a favored destination for those seeking to mix business with pleasure.
