Colorado suspect wanted in failed bank robbery after handing teller note that was illegible
A bizarre incident unfolded in Loveland, Colorado, when a man attempted to rob a bank but left empty-handed after the teller couldn’t decipher his note. The failed robbery took place at First National Bank on North Lincoln Avenue on December 17, just before 5 p.m.
According to the Loveland Police Department, the suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note. However, the teller had trouble reading the note as it was almost entirely illegible. Frustrated by the teller’s inability to understand his message, the man hastily exited the bank without any cash.
Surveillance images captured the suspect wearing a brown hoodie, green pants, a green baseball cap, sunglasses, and brown gloves. Police are currently on the lookout for the unidentified man.
This comical failed robbery attempt has left authorities puzzled and the public amused. The incident serves as a reminder that crime doesn’t always pay, especially when the criminal’s message is lost in translation.
