Court filing reveals Hunter Biden’s financial issues related to Palisades Fire

Hunter Biden’s legal team has made a recent move to drop his lawsuit against Garrett Ziegler, the ex-White House aide who leaked the contents of his controversial laptop. The motion to dismiss the lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles, with Biden citing financial difficulties as the reason behind this decision.

The court documents obtained by Fox News reveal that Biden has been facing personal and financial challenges, including being a victim of the wildfires in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. The filing states that Biden lacks the resources to continue litigating the matter, highlighting a significant decrease in his income and mounting debts in the millions of dollars.

The filing also mentions that Biden’s rented house in Los Angeles has become uninhabitable due to the wildfires, making it challenging for him to find a new home and secure a new job. The document explains that Biden’s focus has shifted towards dealing with the aftermath of the fires, relocating, and supporting his family financially, rather than pursuing the lawsuit against Ziegler.

In a separate letter filed on the same day, Biden disclosed that his income has dropped significantly in recent years. He detailed his earnings from selling artwork, revealing that he sold 27 pieces at an average price of $54,481.48 before December 2023. However, since then, he has only sold one piece for $36,000. Similarly, his book sales have also taken a hit, with a sharp decline in the number of copies sold post-September 2023.

Biden expressed disappointment in not securing paid speaking engagements and appearances following the success of his book. He mentioned his struggles with paying off his substantial debt, which has been widely reported to be in the millions of dollars, and his inability to borrow money due to his financial situation.
