Illegal migrant with multiple DWI, theft convictions deported for fifth time

Leticia Caballero Guadarrama, a 53-year-old Mexican woman, has once again been deported from the United States. This marks her fifth deportation from the country, highlighting her repeated disregard for immigration laws and criminal activities. Guadarrama has a troubling criminal record, with six convictions each for driving while intoxicated and theft.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston Field Office Director Bret Bradford expressed shock at Guadarrama’s blatant disregard for the law and the hardworking individuals who uphold it. Despite serving in law enforcement for over 30 years, Bradford was taken aback by the level of disrespect shown by this criminal alien.

Guadarrama’s latest deportation took place at the Laredo Port of Entry, where she was released into Mexico. She had previously entered the U.S. illegally on at least six occasions before voluntarily returning to Mexico in 2002. Since then, she has been deported multiple times, including in 2003, 2009 (twice), 2010, and most recently, in 2025.

During her time in the U.S., Guadarrama amassed a lengthy criminal history, including six DWI convictions, six theft convictions, and two convictions for refusing to show identification to authorities. Bradford emphasized the impact of Guadarrama’s actions on the community, stating that her repeated offenses endangered everyone and wasted taxpayer-funded resources.

This case underscores the challenges faced by law enforcement in dealing with repeat offenders like Guadarrama. It also highlights the importance of upholding immigration laws and protecting communities from individuals who show a blatant disregard for the law. The authorities remain vigilant in enforcing the law and ensuring the safety and security of the community.
