Attendees of President Trump’s inauguration parade at Capital One Arena in downtown D.C. on Monday shared their experiences of enduring the cold weather in the nation’s capital to show their support for the president.

Supporters told Fox News Digital that they arrived as early as 4:30 a.m. on Monday and waited for hours in the cold to secure a spot at the arena for the parade. Some supporters even mentioned that the line had already formed by the time they arrived, with reports indicating that people had started lining up as early as the night before. Although the parade was moved indoors due to concerns about the cold weather, supporters noted that it wasn’t as cold as they had anticipated.

Gina Raper, a Trump fan from North Carolina, shared that she arrived as early as Friday to attend Trump’s Sunday rally before the formal swearing-in ceremony. She mentioned that they stood out all day in the rain to secure a seat at the rally as well. Raper expressed her gratitude for the experience, stating, “We’re so thankful.”

When asked if the experience was worth braving the cold, supporters responded with a resounding yes. Andrea Rogers, who traveled from Delaware, mentioned that it was definitely worth the wait and expressed their happiness at being there.

Supporters Hopeful for Trump Administration

When asked about their expectations for the new Trump administration, supporters highlighted Trump’s plans to secure the border and strengthen the military. One supporter expressed hope for the administration to challenge the pharmaceutical and food industries, echoing the priorities of Trump’s Health and Human Services secretary nominee, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Supporters emphasized the importance of having a strong leadership team, with one stating, “Good leaders train good leaders, and he’s got the best team I have ever seen.” Another supporter confidently proclaimed, “Trump will fix it!”
