Blagojevich: Dems ‘don’t care about America,’ kept Biden despite infirmities

Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich recently criticized the Democratic Party, accusing them of unethical behavior and favoring a “coma” patient over other candidates for their own political gain. Blagojevich specifically called out Sen. Adam Schiff, labeling him as the headliner of a “Hall of Fame for Liars.”

In a conversation with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Blagojevich expressed his frustration with Democrats’ apparent reluctance to address concerns about former President Joe Biden’s health and competency. He suggested that Democrats were more interested in covering up Biden’s shortcomings rather than prioritizing the well-being of the country.

Blagojevich went on to question the party’s commitment to America, quoting Tennessee Williams’ famous line about the dangers of lying and hypocrisy. He argued that Democrats should prioritize the success of the country over partisan politics and personal agendas.

When asked about the possibility of removing Biden from office using the 25th Amendment and replacing him with Vice President Kamala Harris, Blagojevich suggested that Democrats preferred having a “brain-dead Biden” as president over Harris. He criticized the party for not considering the best interests of the country in their decision-making.

Blagojevich also took aim at former President Donald Trump’s critics, accusing them of spreading lies about him. He argued that Democrats, particularly Adam Schiff, were the real culprits when it came to dishonesty and misinformation.

Referring to Schiff as the “king of Democratic liars,” Blagojevich likened him to Elvis Presley in a hypothetical “Hall of Fame for liars.” Blagojevich, who served time in federal prison following his impeachment in 2008, has maintained his innocence and compared his legal troubles to those faced by Trump.

Overall, Blagojevich’s comments highlight the ongoing divisions within the Democratic Party and the broader political landscape. His criticisms serve as a reminder of the importance of transparency, honesty, and integrity in government and politics.
