Billy Joel cancels Toronto show set for Saturday, citing medical condition

Billy Joel Postpones Concert Dates Due to Medical Condition
American singer, songwriter, and pianist Billy Joel, 75, has announced the postponement of eight concert dates, including a show at the Rogers Centre in Toronto this Saturday. The decision comes as Joel undergoes surgery and physical therapy to address a medical condition, with a projected four-month recovery period.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Joel expressed his regret at having to reschedule the shows but emphasized the importance of prioritizing his health. He assured fans that he is expected to make a full recovery and looks forward to returning to the stage soon.
The Toronto concert has been rescheduled for March 14, 2026, at the Rogers Centre, while the tour will resume at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5, 2025. Ticket holders for the postponed show will have their tickets automatically transferred to the new date in 2026.
Joel, known for hits like “Piano Man,” first reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1974. His upcoming performances promise to deliver the joy of live music to his devoted fan base, once he has fully recovered.
