Lebron James son, Bryce, commits to University of Arizona

Bryce James Commits to University of Arizona
Bryce James, the younger son of NBA superstar LeBron James, has officially committed to the University of Arizona as a member of the Wildcats’ 2025 recruiting class.
The 17-year-old announced his decision on social media, sharing a photoshopped image of himself in a Wildcats jersey alongside head coach Tommy Lloyd, with the caption “100 per cent committed.”
LeBron James, Bryce’s father and a Los Angeles Lakers icon, also celebrated the news on Instagram, congratulating his son with a heartfelt message.
ESPN scouts have rated Bryce as a four-star prospect, highlighting his skills on the court. He previously played for his father’s Strive for Greatness program, showcasing his talent in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.
Despite receiving offers from other schools like Ohio State and Duquesne, Bryce ultimately chose Arizona for his collegiate career. Duquesne, coached by LeBron’s close friend Dru Joyce III, had extended an offer to Bryce back in 2022.
Bryce joins Dwayne Aristode as the second recruit in Arizona’s 2025 class, with the Wildcats still pursuing top prospects Koa Peat, Brayden Burries, and Alijah Arenas.
In a parallel storyline, LeBron’s older son Bronny had a brief stint with USC before health issues sidelined him. Despite setbacks, the James family continues to make waves in the basketball world.
As for LeBron himself, retirement rumors have swirled throughout the season. The NBA legend recently reflected on his career on his 40th birthday, hinting at the possibility of stepping away from the game in the near future.
