Halifax police investigating shots fired at parked vehicle in Bedford

BEDFORD, N.S. — Police in Bedford are investigating gunshots ringing through the community late Monday night.

Halifax Regional Police police were called to Ahmadi Crescent around 11 p.m. following reports of multiple shots being fired.

At the scene, officers were able to find evidence suggesting a gun had been fired, and several vehicles parked at one address were damaged by gunfire.

Halifax Regional Police officers remained in the area for some time, however, officers believe this is a random incident.

The investigation is in the early stages and limited details are available at this time.
