Boucher, Mathurin and Dort from Québec to coach the Basketball Without Borders camp in the home province

Three Canadian NBA players will don their coaching caps next week with the top high school prospects from Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Bennedict Mathurin of the Indiana Pacers, Chris Boucher of the Toronto Raptors and Lu Dort of the Oklahoma City Thunder are among nine coaches at the Basketball Without Borders Americas camp to be held at Cegep Edouard-Montpetit in Longueuil, Que., of June 22-25.
Another Canadian is Toronto native and Raptors 905 coach Eric Khoury.
The NBA and FIBA made the announcement Thursday, releasing the list of campers ahead of camp.
Thirty-eight former BWB campers were among 120 international players on last NBA season’s opening night rosters.
That list includes Mathurin, of Montreal, Jamal Murray, a star guard at NBA champion Denver Nuggets of Kitchener, Ont., and Dort’s teammate, 2023 all-star and first-team all-NBA selection Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Hamilton.
