Hydro One reaches provisional agreement with Power Workers’ Union

TORONTO – Hydro One Inc. says it has reached preliminary agreements on two contracts with the Power Workers’ Union, which represents the company’s frontline workers.
Details of the proposed settlements were not immediately available.
The energy company says the master agreement covers front-line staff, while the collective agreement for customer service operations covers staff in customer-facing roles.
Union members will vote on the provisional agreements at the end of July.
Once ratified, the new contracts will run until September 30, 2025.
Hydro One is Ontario’s largest electricity transmission and distribution provider.
