Musk blasts Soros in series of posts after Biden gives him nation’s top civilian award: ‘Hatred of humanity’

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has recently come out with scathing criticism of liberal megadonor George Soros after President Biden awarded him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Musk took to social media platform X to express his disappointment in the decision to honor Soros, stating that it was a “travesty” and that he wished Soros “loved, rather than hated, humanity.”
In a series of posts, Musk called Soros a “genius” when it came to finance and politics but criticized him for his alleged hatred towards humanity. He also referenced a news story about Soros funding Hamas-supporting NGOs and accused him of spending billions to create what he called the “fake asylum-seeker nightmare” that is supposedly destroying America and Europe.
Musk even posted a meme of Biden awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Emperor Palpatine from the “Star Wars” franchise, joking that Soros looked good in the lighting. He also responded to a comment from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who claimed that Soros was a danger to democracy, by stating that Soros was being defeated.
Soros, a prominent Democratic donor, has been criticized for his support of progressive candidates and policies that some experts believe have contributed to rising crime rates in major cities. His Open Society Foundations have received billions of dollars in donations since 1984. Zack Smith, a legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, criticized Biden’s decision to award Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, calling it a “slap in the face” to those affected by Soros’ policies.
Many experts and analysts blame Soros for the surge in crime in major cities, citing his support for progressive district attorneys who have pushed for changes to policing and sentencing policies. A backlash against these progressive policies was seen in the defeat or recall of a dozen Soros-linked district attorneys in the November elections.
Despite these criticisms, Soros continues to be a major player in progressive politics, using his vast financial resources to fund campaigns and initiatives that align with his agenda. Musk’s outspoken criticism of Soros highlights the ongoing debate over the influence of wealthy donors in shaping political outcomes.
Fox News Digital reached out to the Open Society Foundations for comment but did not receive a response. The ongoing debate surrounding Soros and his impact on politics and society is likely to continue as he remains a prominent figure in progressive circles.
