‘No view’ tickets for Taylor Swift’s Vancouver shows reselling for thousands
Taylor Swift Offers Fans a Second Chance at Eras Tour Tickets
Swifties who missed out on tickets for the final dates of Taylor Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour in December were given a second chance on Monday.
Fans took to social media to share their excitement as Ticketmaster released more seats for the Vancouver shows. This came after a similar opportunity was offered to fans before Swift’s Toronto stop for verified fan sales.
However, there was a catch. The newly released seats were behind the stage and labeled as “no stage view” tickets. Despite this, fans could still enjoy the show from inside the arena at a bargain price of $16.50. This was a stark contrast to the thousands of dollars that tickets with a view of Taylor Swift were being sold for throughout the tour.
As of Tuesday, Ticketmaster’s website shows that all tickets for the Dec. 6, 7, and 8 shows have been sold out. But fear not, as resale website StubHub has “no view” and “behind stage” tickets available at prices ranging from $1,400 to $2,300.
When asked for more information, Ticketmaster Canada has yet to respond. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift took to Instagram on Tuesday morning to express her excitement for the upcoming shows in Vancouver, marking the end of The Eras Tour. She promised fans that the closing of this chapter would be nothing short of extraordinary.
