Police are seeking help identifying the man after a boy groped in Fall River, NS

FALL RIVER, NS — Halifax police are turning to the public for help identifying a man after a youth was sexually assaulted in Fall River on Wednesday, June 21.

Halifax District RCMP received complaints of sexual assault at a convenience store on Highway 2 around 6:30 p.m

Investigators said three youths and a woman were shopping when one of the youths was groped by a man.

The man then quickly left the store.

The suspect was described as being six feet tall and between 20 and 30 years old.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark blue Coors Light hoodie with a black jacket and black pants.

Mounties also believe the man arrived at the store in a red Hyundai Elantra hatchback.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are asking anyone with information about the man’s identity to call 902-490-5020 or tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
