Police looking for suspect after teen assaulted at Halifax pool
HALIFAX, N.S. — Police are turning to the public for help in identifying a suspect after a teen was assaulted at the Halifax Common Aquatic Facility on July 8.
Shortly after 7 p.m., Halifax Regional Police said officers were called to an assault at the outdoor pool at the facility.
Police said a man assaulted a 15-year-old lifeguard after being approached in relation to pool rules.
The man left the pool in a black four-door Honda Civic before police arrived.
The suspect is described as a Black man, between the ages of 40 and 50 and weighing around 250 pounds.
He had tattoos on both arms, a short beard and long black hair that was tied back.
