Unauthorized sexual enhancement pills seized from B.C., Ontario stores

Health Canada Warns of Unauthorized Sexual Enhancement Pills Seized in B.C. and Ontario
Health Canada has taken action against multiple unauthorized sexual enhancement pills being sold in stores in British Columbia and Ontario, citing serious health risks associated with these products. The agency issued a warning on Monday, urging consumers to be cautious when using such products.
The seized pills have been added to Health Canada’s list of seizures, which includes brands like Rhino 7 725K, Etumax VIP Royal Honey for Him, and Premium S.W.A.G. These products contain ingredients like sildenafil and tadalafil, which are prescription drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction. Health Canada emphasizes that these drugs should only be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Combining these pills with nitrate drugs can lead to potentially life-threatening low blood pressure, especially for individuals with heart problems. The risks include heart attack, stroke, chest pain, high blood pressure, and abnormal heartbeat.
Two of the seized products were found at Artisan Smoke Shop on West Broadway in Vancouver. A spokesperson from Artisan Smoke Shop stated that they had only two units of the products at the time of inspection and have since removed them from their inventory. The spokesperson emphasized their commitment to upholding Health Canada’s safety standards.
Health Canada also confiscated three other products, one from a store on Steeles Avenue in Toronto and two from a store on Kingston Road in Pickering, Ontario.
