Police searching for man who robbed Dartmouth restaurant at gunpoint

DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Halifax Regional Police are on the hunt for the man who robbed a Dartmouth business at gunpoint on Dec. 18.

Officers were called to The Tilted Top Bar and Grill at 172 Wyse Rd. just before 11 p.m. after an unknown man entered the bar, pointed a handgun and demanded money from the till.

Police say he also took the wallets and cell phones of some patrons before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a white man standing roughly five-foot-eight-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a scarf over his face, a black hooded jacket, a grey and red shirt, brown pants and black and white shoes.
