Ontario invites more than 1,800 PNP candidates for 77 professions

Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP) Issues 1,893 Invitations for Provincial Immigration

On 3 September, the Provincial Nominated Ontario program ceased more draws and issued 1,893 invitations to apply for provincial immigration. The draws targeted candidates with vacancies within 77 priority professions and those currently living in Canada.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominated Program (OINP) conducted a total of two draws and issued invitations to apply via the Employer offer: foreign employee and International student Streams. Both draws considered profiles made between 2 July 2025 and 3 September 2025.

Details about the 3 September of the OINP

Current Minimal score Number of invitations to apply issued
Employer offer: foreign employee flow 42 1,134
Employer: Job offer: International Student Stream 63 759

Candidates only received an invitation among these draws if they meet the minimum score requirement and had a vacancy in one of the National Professional classification (NOC) Codes.

  • NOC 10011 – Human Resources managers
  • NOC 10012 – merchants
  • NOC 92021 – Supervisors, electronics and production of electric products

Candidates who have received invitations must respond to the OINP with a full application for provincial nomination. After receiving their nomination from OINP, successful nominees can submit an application to the federal government for permanent stay.

OINP Attracts in 2025

These draws closely follow a different round of important invitations to apply issued by the OINP, with a total of 2,643 invitations to foreigners with vacancies in priority health professions. This brings the total number of invitations to be applied by the OINP in the first week of September to 4,536.

Earlier this year, the OINP announced that its provincial nomination allocation before 2025 had been reduced to 10,750, against 21,500 in 2024. In addition, Ontario has introduced changes to the application process for his employer offer flows.

The trekkings mentioned above only considered candidates whose employers have submitted vacancies via the new portal. Candidates who have drawn up EOIs before 2 July must collaborate with their employers to resubmit their profiles with the help of the portal to be taken into consideration.
