World Economic Forum backs probe into globalist body’s founder Klaus Schwab

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has found itself embroiled in controversy following allegations of financial and ethical misconduct against its founder, Klaus Schwab. A whistleblower complaint was brought to the attention of the board, which includes prominent figures such as former Vice President Al Gore, Jordan’s Queen Rania, and European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde.

The allegations outlined in the whistleblower letter include claims that Schwab used WEF funds for personal expenses, such as withdrawing thousands of dollars from ATMs through subordinates and paying for private massages at hotels. Additionally, it was alleged that Schwab’s wife, Hilde, a former WEF staffer, arranged meetings funded by the forum to justify luxury holiday travel at the organization’s expense.

In response to the allegations, a spokesperson for the Schwab family denied the claims of luxury travel and unauthorized money withdrawals, stating that any hotel charges for massages would be reimbursed to the forum. The family also announced plans to file a lawsuit against the individual responsible for the whistleblower letter.

The WEF board, in an emergency meeting held on Easter Sunday, unanimously supported the decision to initiate an independent investigation into the allegations. The Audit and Risk Committee will lead the investigation with the assistance of independent legal experts, and the board has committed to sharing progress updates as the investigation unfolds.

In the wake of Schwab’s resignation as chairman and member of the Board of Trustees, the WEF affirmed its commitment to its mission and values as a facilitator of progress. Interim chairmanship will be assumed by Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, with continued leadership from President and CEO Børge Brende. The WEF underscored the importance of inclusive dialogue in navigating global complexities and shaping the future.

The annual meeting in Davos, a gathering of global leaders from various sectors, has long been a platform for discussions on world economic affairs. Former President Donald Trump addressed the Davos meeting remotely earlier this year, expressing optimism for a “Golden Age” for America and the world.

The WEF’s decision to conduct an independent investigation into the allegations against Klaus Schwab demonstrates its commitment to transparency and accountability. As the investigation progresses, the WEF will continue its mission of fostering collaboration and dialogue among global leaders.
