Linus Karlsson netted the game-winning goal at 17:19 of the second period, sealing the victory for Abbotsford.

Sammy Blais and Danila Klimovich also found the back of the net for the Canucks, who were outshot 30-20 but relied on the stellar performance of goaltender Arturs Silovs. Silovs was awarded the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as the playoff MVP for his outstanding play throughout the postseason, tying a record with 16 wins and five shutouts.
