Two Killed, Two Injured in Thanksgiving Morning Shooting in San Antonio
Two people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a tragic shooting incident that took place on Thanksgiving morning in San Antonio, according to local police reports.
The gunfire broke out at approximately 8 a.m. in the east side of the city, specifically at a residence located off Potomac Street near St. James Street, as reported by KABB-TV.
San Antonio Police Chief William McManus confirmed that four individuals were discovered with gunshot wounds.
“All the individuals involved in this incident were acquainted with each other, including the shooter,” Chief McManus informed the press at the scene.
The alleged shooter, identified as a man in his twenties, was exiting the residence when he reportedly opened fire. He was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement.
“I can’t recall the number of times I’ve been called out on Thanksgiving for incidents like this, but unfortunately, it seems to occur all too frequently,” Chief McManus lamented.
