Ohio State basketball star investigated for alleged ‘domestic incident’: report

Ohio State Buckeyes center Aaron Bradshaw is currently under investigation for a potential “domestic incident,” as reported by The Columbus Dispatch. This investigation has resulted in Bradshaw being absent from team activities, with no clear timeline on when he may return to the court.

The team released a vague statement before their game against Campbell, stating that Bradshaw is not participating in team activities and that the university is following its established process. Due to privacy laws, no further information is available at this time.

Head coach Jake Diebler declined to comment on the situation following the team’s recent win over Campbell. Bradshaw is not expected to play in the upcoming game against Green Bay, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his status with the team.

While no charges have been filed against Bradshaw, the incident reportedly occurred at his off-campus apartment. Bradshaw, who transferred to Ohio State from Kentucky after his freshman year in 2023, has started in the four games he has played this season.

On the court, Bradshaw has been averaging 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game, totaling 31 points scored so far. The former top center prospect out of Camden High School in New Jersey chose Ohio State over returning to play in his home state for Rutgers.

After a disappointing NCAA tournament exit led to coaching changes at Kentucky, Bradshaw made the decision to transfer. He spent one season with the Wildcats, starting in 10 games and averaging 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Bradshaw’s situation, Ohio State continues to play without him as they navigate through the season. Fans and teammates alike are hopeful for a resolution to the investigation and a return to the court for Bradshaw in the near future.
