Biden used same autopen signature on official docs, renewing concerns over who controlled the WH: report

A recent report published by the Oversight Project, an arm of the conservative Heritage Foundation, has brought to light concerns over the use of autopen signatures on official documents signed by President Joe Biden. The report alleges that the majority of documents signed by President Biden used the same autopen signature, raising questions about whether the former president actually ordered the signature of relevant legal documents.

The Oversight Project conducted an investigation into President Biden’s signatures on various official documents, including executive orders and announcements. The group found that all documents, with the exception of one where Biden announced he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, used the same autopen signature. Autopen signatures are automatically produced by a machine, rather than being handwritten by the individual.

The report posted three examples of Biden’s signature, including two executive orders and the announcement of his withdrawal from the presidential race. The signature on the executive orders showed a consistent pattern of a line followed by “R. Biden Jr.” However, the signature on the document announcing his departure from the race appeared slightly different.

Fox News Digital conducted its own examination of more than 20 executive orders signed by President Biden between 2021 and 2024 and found that each document had the same autopen signature. The report also compared Biden’s signatures to those of former President Donald Trump and found that Trump’s signatures were also consistent throughout his administrations.

President Biden and his administration have faced scrutiny over his mental acuity, particularly after a series of gaffes and missteps during his presidency. The report has reignited concerns over Biden’s mental fitness, especially following a disastrous debate performance against Trump in June 2024.

Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has called for an investigation into whether Biden’s cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policies without his knowledge or approval. The Oversight Project has echoed this sentiment, urging investigators to determine who controlled the autopen during the Biden administration.

The findings of the report have sparked outrage among conservative social media users, who are questioning the authenticity of Biden’s signatures on official documents. The investigation highlights the need for transparency and accountability in government processes, particularly when it comes to the signature of important legal documents.

In conclusion, the Oversight Project’s report raises important questions about the use of autopen signatures by President Biden and the implications for transparency and accountability in government. It is essential for investigators to delve into these findings and determine the extent to which Biden was involved in the signing of official documents during his presidency.
