MLB commissioner Rob Manfred Dervref Did the possibility to break the American and national competitions and to resolve teams based on geography.

“In my mind, I think that if we expand, it offers us the opportunity to reinruit geographically. I think we could see a lot of wear on our players in terms of travel,” Manfred said. “And I think our Postseason -format would be more attractive for entities such as ESPN, because you would play from the east, from the West. And that time slot of 10 hours where we sometimes get lost in Anaheim, would be two West Coast teams. That 10 hours of lock is a problem for us sometimes a real chance for our West Coast audience.
“I think the owners realize that there is a demand for Major League Baseball in many great cities. And we have the chance to do something good about that.”
