Woman Dies in Tragic Accident After Slipping on Ice and Falling Under Halifax Transit Bus

Halifax police have provided more details about the tragic death of a 40-year-old woman in north-end Halifax last week. The incident, initially described as “suspicious,” was revealed to be a devastating accident that occurred when the woman slipped on ice and fell under a Halifax Transit bus.

The incident took place on Gottingen Street near Bloomfield Street at approximately 7 p.m. AT on February 28. Police responded to a call and found the injured woman lying in the roadway.
